Building Emergency Preparedness Coordinators

ETSU has a program in place where certain building occupants are appointed "Building Coordinators".
They play a key role in ensuring the safety of building occupants. Some of their responsibilities include:

  1. Completing a monthly safety inspection in the building
  2. Relaying complaints/issues to Facilities or Health & Safety
  3. Requesting work orders for maintenance issues
  4. Notifying Facilities of emergency maintenance issues
  5. Acting as the main point of contact for communications to building occupants
  6. Participating in fire drills
