Welcome to the Division of Theatre & Dance!
The Division of Theatre & Dance offers professional training in a liberal arts setting. We produce 4 mainstage productions per year in the Bud Frank Theatre, located in Gilbreath Hall on ETSU's main campus. This 209 seat proscenium stage is named after the Theatre Program founder Harold (Bud) Frank, who taught acting and directing in the Department of Communication along with his wife Daryl, who specialized in children's theatre and stage movement. Additionally experimental works are produced in the newly renovated Studio 205, a performance lab located in the Campus Center Building on the main campus.
We encourage you to learn more about us by exploring this website! Just follow the links in the above left.
Mission Statement
Interested in visiting ETSU? ETSU welcomes visitors all year. Weekdays are the ideal time to visit because classes are in session. Campus tours are given during Fall and Spring semesters (September through April) at 9 am and 1 pm Monday through Friday. The Summer tour schedule includes a daily tour at 1 pm (May through July).
