Welcome to the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA). We are proud to prepare leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in an ever-changing world. We offer challenging curricula in degree programs designed to develop strong leaders in both the public and private sector. We live in an interconnected world no longer bound by geographical constraints and we reflect that change by offering online delivery in three concentrations, Administrative Endorsement, School Leadership, and Private Post-Secondary and three degrees, Master's, Educational Specialist, and Doctoral. We welcome students from near and far who desire to broaden their expertise and critical thinking skills to become the next generation of leaders in our society and the world.
The department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) offers programs that focus on developing the leaders of tomorrow. ELPA offers a wide range of opportunities and programs for students to apply their knowledge in a dynamic environment. Students complete internships and residency activities aimed at targeting their individual leadership and career focus while expanding their current knowledge and understanding of the leadership field.

The deadline for applications each semester is published on the School of Graduate Studies website. However, we will interview applicants beyond the deadline if space is available in the next cohort. Contact the ELPA Graduate Program Coordinator for the concentration of interest for more information about deadlines.
Our primary purpose is the graduate preparation of individuals who will serve as educational leaders in K-12 schools, community/technical colleges, four year colleges and universities, and organizations/agencies.
