About this Conference: | This half-day conference will include a large group didactic session to present the clinical anatomy and evidence-based approaches to Paracentesis and Thoracentesis followed by three small group, hands-on, experiential sessions. Participants will observe and identify the relevant anatomy via prosections and virtual reality, demonstrate competency for these procedures on a simulated model via surgical reality donors prepared through the modified Thiel embalming method, and apply the skills and knowledge gained in a simulation lab scenario. | ||||||||||||||||||
