Message from the Chair
Welcome, I’m Dr. Jason Moore, Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine. For 50 years, our department has trained compassionate physicians and provided high-quality primary care across Appalachia.
With clinics in Johnson City, Bristol and Kingsport, the department provides comprehensive, evidence-based primary care for patients of all ages while preparing medical students and residents to serve rural and underserved communities.
Its faculty clinicians, researchers and interdisciplinary care teams are dedicated to improving health outcomes and advancing whole-person care throughout the region and beyond.
