Matt Parks, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Parks earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University's Quillen College of Medicine. Dr. Parks was Chief Resident at the VAMC at Mountain Home Tennessee. Dr. Parks then joined the VA as a staff physician and Site Director for ETSUs Internal Medicine Residency Program. He was later named Associate Program Director for the Residency Program. Dr. Parks has received awards from both medical residents and medical students for his leadership and teaching. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.
