Rural Programs Home

The ETSU and the Quillen College of Medicine are highly successful in producing graduates who will practice in underserved, rural communities as is evidenced by our "6th in the country" national ranking in Rural Medicine Training by the U.S. News and World Report and for recognition of community partnership as "Best Rural Program of 2007" by the National Rural Health Association.

Rural Programs training includes interprofessional experiences.  Interprofessional Educational experiences include learning from professionals and with health professionals in training from Nursing, Public Health, Social Work Pharmacy, Psychology, Nutrition, Clinical Rehabilitative Sciences as well as a wealth of rural community based professionals.
