In September 2008, the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences at the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention, and the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, jointly held a conference in Chandigarh, India on the Environmental Risks of Respiratory Disease.  The main focus of the conference was on the respiratory risks from indoor burning of biomass fuels for cooking and heating.  Randy Wykoff was invited to speak on “The Challenges of Research in Rural Areas”    His PowerPoint presentation is attached.
