About the Department

The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology offers courses ranging from undergraduate offerings supporting the Bachelor of Science in Public Health to Doctoral courses focusing on key health issues. The department offers graduate certificates in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Both certificates require 15 credit hours which include a core of 9 credit hours and 6 credit hours of concentrated study.

The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology supports both master and doctoral degrees. The department provides the course work for the Master of Public Health and its Epidemiology concentration. The Doctor of Public Health-Epidemiology Concentration is offered through the department.
