National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (CEPH)

Develops and applies accreditation guidelines for institutions of higher education that wish to ensure premium quality education and training of environmental health science and protection practitioners.



Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs (AEHAP)

Promotes and supports the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) accredited environmental health degree programs in response to a severe national environmental health professionals. 



Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)

An independent agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside schools of public health.


National Environmental Health Association (NEHA)

To advance the environmental health and protection professional for the purpose of providing a healthful environment for all.


Tennessee Environmental Health Association (TEHA)

The Tennessee Environmental Health Associations is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to promote environment al health professions by insisting on high standards and ethical conduct through educational programs, student internships, and support to the industry and professionals.


Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)

To support the development of principles and practices for protection, enhancement and management of sustainable environmental quality and ecosystem integrity.  Promotes the advancement and application of scientific research related to contaminants and other stressors in the environment, education in the environmental sciences, and the use of science in environmental policy and decision-making.


American Society for Microbiology (ASM)

The world's largest scientific society of individuals interested in the microbiological sciences.  The mission is to advance the microbiological sciences as a vehicle for understanding life processes and to apply and communicate this knowledge for the improvement of health and environmental and economic well-being worldwide.
