University Honors Curriculum

The University Honors Scholars program at ETSU offers a distinctive honors curriculum intended to provide Scholars with a focused liberal arts experience and undergraduate research opportunities within the context of a regional university taught by seasoned faculty.

Scholarship (8 semesters)

Scholarships cover in-state and out-of-state tuition and most fees, a standard residence hall and meal package, and an honors Allowance of $150/semester (which may increase to $500 if receiving Tennessee Hope Scholarship).

Advising and Registration

University Honors Scholars receive individual advising with the UHS program director, major and minor advisers, and pre-professional adviser. They also have priority registration.

Honors House

24/7 access to Honors House which offers individual and group study rooms with computers, a computer lab, a TV/movie room, conference room with presentation capability and a mini kitchen as well as the offices of University Honors Scholars staff.

Leadership

The opportunity to serve on the Honors College Student Council and other Honors College ad hoc committees in order to have input as to the Honors experience at ETSU.
