East Tennessee State University has a firm commitment to performance evaluation of university personnel, whatever their category and level, through the medium of a formalized system. The primary purpose of such evaluation is to assist personnel in professional development and in achieving university goals. Procedures for evaluating non-faculty university employees are addressed in the Employee Performance Evaluation Procedures Guide , and the Periodic Review of Administrators ( PPP-59), available on the Human Resources web page, or by calling the Office of Human Resources, telephone 94457. Faculty evaluation is addressed under a separate program.
