We encourage community members of all ages to connect with the museum through special programs and activities!
Attend a Public Lecture!
We invite you to join us for a free public talk, typically offered once a month, about a variety of scientific topics ranging from paleontology to astronomy. These talks are fun, informative and a great opportunity to meet others interested in science and natural history.
Help Prep Fossils!
If you're interested in working with fossils in a hands-on way and learning more about the Gray Fossil Site at the same time, volunteer in our Prep Lab! Preparators train you in the ways we clean and reassemble fossils, share their knowledge of anatomy, and provide a front row seat to the newest discoveries!
Visit Fossil ID Night!
Do you have your own fossil collection you'd like to learn more about? Bring it to the museum on Fossil ID Night. Paleontologists and museum staff will be ready to identify your fossils and share information about finding and identifying fossils.
