Gray Fossil Site Patch Programs:
Future paleontologists now have an opportunity to dig for fossil and work in the prep lab at the Museum.
The Gray Fossil Site Patch Program are held on select Saturdays from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Patch Programs are $15 for 1st-5th graders and include all activity materials, museum admission, and a keepsake patch.
"The Gray Fossil Site Patch Program is a great way to introduce kids to the field of paleontology," said Sarah Mullersman, education coordinator. "Each child will work with museum scientists and learn how to properly dig for fossils and how research is conducted in our labs. It is a great opportunity for hands-on experience."
During the program, participants will dig on the Gray Fossil Site and examine their finds in the museum's active prep lab alongside paleontologists.
