As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) you will diagnose and manage common and acute primary health care problems among individuals across the life span. You will be responsible for promoting, maintaining, and restoring health, which includes identifying health risks, promoting wellness, and diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses. For nurses who want to become managers and leaders in the health care system, we offer a specialty in Nursing Administration.
The NP specialties offered at ETSU include:
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Gerontological Nurse Practitioner
- Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
In addition, the College of Nursing at ETSU offers a collaborative, online program –the Regent’s Online Degree Program (RODP)-- with concentrations in Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, Advanced Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner, and Nursing Informatics.
