Institute
and Housing Information
An institute fee will be charged to cover the operational and speaker expenses.
This fee is SEPARATE from the elective tuition.
The Institute fee for one
credit hour institutes is only $275 PER INSTITUTE for those NOT enrolling for
university credit, or $175 PER INSTITUTE for anyone ENROLLING for university
credit. The fee for two credit hour institutes is $500 for those NOT
enrolling for university credit and $350 for anyone enrolling for
credit. Please print and mail this form with your deposit by May 31 for
Summer Session I and July 10 for Summer Session II.
Tuition will be an additional expense and must be paid to the university.
To reserve your space, a $50 deposit is required PER INSTITUTE. (Make checks
payable to ETSU STORYTELLING. If you cancel, half of this amount will be
refunded if you notify us in writing (email is acceptable) before May 31 for the first session
or July 24 for the second session.
The remaining institute fees may be paid on the first day of the institute,

In order to secure a room or apartment with ETSU
you need to fill out this reservation
form and send it to Kathy Graves by USPS or as an email attachment.

Be sure to mention that you are attending the ETSU Storytelling Institutes or short-term summer courses
as the rates are different from summer long residents.
Motel lodging is considerably more expensive than
campus housing. However, there are a number of apartments and rooms available
in the area. Unfortunately, we do not have a current list for you, so you will
need to explore off-campus housing on your own.
