The 2015 Appalachian Student Research Forum will be held in the 3rd floor of the D. P. Culp University Center on the campus of East Tennessee State University.
The Culp Center is located on the campus of ETSU, the large, concrete building on the south side of campus, next to the Sherrod Library. View an interactive map of the campus.
We recommend that you park in the new ETSU parking garage, located on the north and west end of campus., We wil possibly be provideding shuttle service from the parking garage to the Culp Center. Please check back for more details.
From Knoxville: Take I-40 East. Split off onto I-81 towards Bristol. Take exit 57, I-26 East toward Johnson City. Take exit 24 and turn left onto University Parkway.
Once on University Parkway, go straight through 2 stoplights. After the 2nd stoplight, go another eighth of a mile and turn left onto Southewest Avenue. Go straight through the 4-way-stop intersection. The Culp Center is the 2nd building on the right (the large, concrete building). It is recommended that you park in the new parking garage; to proceed to the parking garage: continue past the Culp Center to the next stop sign and turn right onto John Robert Bell Dr., take the second left onto North Dossett Dr., go to the stop sign and turn right onto Jackk Vest Dr., go to the round-about and turn right into the parking garage.
From Asheville: Take I-26 West into Tennessee. Take exit 24 and turn left onto University Parkway. Follow the directions above.
From Virginia: Take I-81 South into Tennessee. Take exit 57, I-26 East toward Johnson City. Take exit 24 and turn left onto University Parkway. Follow the directions above.
From Tri-Cities Regional Airport: Take 75 West to I-26 East towards Johnson City. Take exit 24 and turn left onto University Parkway. Follow the directions above.
