CFAA - Testing Services

Student Guidelines for Course Testing

Testing Services hours this summer are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fall and spring hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

We do not seat students before 8:30 a.m. or one minute after closing time. If lines are long and you are in line at closing time, you will not be seated.

You MUST present your ETSU ID card (with photo) to be admitted. Photo on ID MUST NOT be faded or you will not be admitted. NO ONE will be admitted for course testing without an ETSU ID.

Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off and stored during testing (not on your person or on the desk).

Your instructor will tell CFAA staff what materials, if any, you may bring into the testing area (e.g. notes, calculators or textbooks). Personal belongings may not be taken to your seat unless in a bag, which must remain under your seat.

If your instructor allows the use of scratch paper, Testing Services staff will provide it and collect it after your test.

You may not wear sunglasses or hats in the testing area. If you are wearing a hooded sweatshirt, sweater, coat, or jacket, be aware that the hood may not cover your head at any time during your test. If you choose to wear a sweatshirt, sweater, coat, or jack with pockets you must empty your pockets of all belongings.

Free earplugs are available if you are concerned about background noise.

You may not bring children, friends, or family members with you while taking a test. Children cannot wait in the library unattended.

Academic misconduct will be subject to disciplinary action. (http://catalog.etsu.edu/content.php)
