University Marketing & Communications

Through effective communication in all its varied forms, the Office of University Marketing and Communications creates and builds relationships that promote teaching, research, and public service at East Tennessee State University.

Role of the Partnership Manager (PM)

Our office completes many types of projects for internal clients across campus, including but not limited to marketing campaigns, news releases, videos, design projects, print projects, social media posts and campaigns, newsletters, scripts, memos, and speeches.

All entities on campus are assigned to a Partnership Manager (PM; see list here), who will assist them with marketing and communication projects (see the list here). The PM will be the entity’s primary point of contact when working with UMC. The PM takes ownership of projects and ensures that deadlines are set and met, that content is complete and accurate, and that projects are completed.

The Office of University Marketing and Communications held a webinar on October 20, 2021 about changes occurring in our office and ways we can collaborate in telling the University’s story across campus.
