Academic Programs
The Doctor of Pharmacy is a four-year degree professional program that prepares students to provide skilled, ethical, and compassionate patient care as pharmacists. The program builds on a solid scientific foundation and educates students in managing a patient’s drug regimen, counseling patients on medication use, managing medication distribution, and promoting public health. The college emphasizes team-based patient care through interprofessional education.
Our PharmD prepares students for careers in community pharmacy, pharmacy ownership, hospital pharmacy, and postgraduate residency/fellowship training programs. The dual degree programs, including PharmD-MBA and PharmD-MPH open up additional career opportunities in management and population health.
