December Hiring Freeze
ETSU's 2024 holiday break will commence on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and continue through Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Please note that no new full-time or part-time employees will be hired into budgeted positions with an effective start date between December 1 and December 31, 2024, including ACA benefited roles. Temporary part-time hires may be contracted as usual until December 16, 2024.
For more details, please refer to the approved Holiday Schedules for 2024 available on the Human Resources website. Additionally, the deadline for
submitting paperwork to HR for inclusion in the November payroll is November 15, 2024.
Any paperwork received after this date will be processed with the December payroll.
