FAFSA News: The Department of Education plans to open the 2025-26 FAFSA on December 1, 2024.
The 2024-25 FAFSA is now available 24/7 except for during routine maintenance. For more information, please see our 2024-25 FAFSA information webpage.
Students are now able to make corrections to their 2024-25 FAFSA by logging into their StudentAid.gov account. Be sure to follow the instructions provided by Federal Student Aid.
Scholarships for current students:
- Endowed Scholarships are sometimes available to current students.
- The Honors College offers an Undergraduate Research Honors Scholars program.
- Visual Performing Arts Scholarships are available to artistically talented students.
- Many Colleges & Departments also offer Scholarships.
You can apply for scholarships beginning October 1 through March 1 every year. Transfer students can apply beginning October 1 through May 15 every year. The application for 2025-26 academic year will open October 1, 2024.

All students must apply for Financial Aid each year.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is your gateway to all federal financial aid, as well as many state and school aid programs. Many funding opportunities – including the Pell Grant and HOPE (Lottery) Scholarship – are not available without a completed FAFSA.
