Finance and Administration Office
Mission
The Quillen College of Medicine Finance and Administration Department provides comprehensive support services to the College of Medicine and Family Medicine. These services include budgeting, building maintenance, contracts, finance, human resources and research.
In order to support the College of Medicine and Family Medicine's commitment to excellence in education, research and patient care, Finance & Administration practices continuous improvement to deliver innovative and high quality services while adhering to the highest professional standards.
Divisions
The following divisions are included under the auspices of Finance & Administration.

Contracts
Clinical and academic contracts provide diverse and specialized instructional experiences for medical students and residents, while also generating a substantial revenue stream to the College of Medicine and Family Medicine needed to sustain and grow the university mission. F & A provides contract development and execution and monitors invoicing and payments for College of Medicine and Family Medicine. -
Finance
Responsible for financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting for the College of Medicine. This is largely a collaborative process with the departments and services that make up the College of Medicine and Family Medicine. -
Human Resource
Provides policies, programs and developmental support to faculty, staff, medical students, residents and graduate students at the College of Medicine and Family Medicine. Human Resource is dedicated to supporting every person in their current role and future development at the College of Medicine. -
Operations and Facilities Management
Provides professional and service-oriented stewardship in the growth and preservation of the College of Medicine. The College of Medicine maintains 19 university buildings located on the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and in the community and provides service to more than 730,000 gross square feet of space. -
Research
Provides research guidelines and support to College of Medicine faculty and staff in current and future research endeavors. Efforts are collaborated with ETSU grants division and Research and Sponsored Programs. Review of research grant proposals, grant budgeting guidance and support and grant award tracking provided on a daily basis.
