II. CURRICULUM ACTIONS
A. College of Arts & Sciences - Delete
Course SOAA-5387 - Social Statistics - The department
wants a more obvious sequencing of methods and statistics courses for majors.
Social Statistics needs to be renumbered so that it is between
Research Methods (3210) and Microcomputers (3444). Also,
it is desired that graduate students no longer take this course.
Action Taken by Council: Approved
B. Delete PEXS 5097 - Pharmacology and Substance Abuse
This course was overlooked in the original
proposal for termination of the Athletic Training
concentration in the PEXS Department. This course, which is the counterpart to
PEXS 4097, should also be deleted. Appropriate approval for
course deletion is needed before the proposal for program
termination can move forward.
Action Taken by Council: Approved
1. The next meeting of the council will be November 27, 2000 at 1:15 p.m. in
the East
Tennessee Room.
APPROVED: Signed minutes on file
