Do you have a passion for promoting wellness? Earn your B.S. in Public Health from East Tennessee State University.

Through this program, you will prepare to become an effective health educator and specialist in your community. You’ll develop and implement health programs, collect data, and teach behaviors that promote wellness.

You will learn theories and concepts in the classroom and get the chance to apply your knowledge through hands-on learning opportunities. Combining classroom learning and practical skills will prepare you to enter the workforce.

Students completing the community health concentration are eligible to sit for the national Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credentialing exam.
