I am a native of Louisiana but, I am proud to now call Tennessee home.  I obtained my Juris Doctorate in 2013 from Southern University Law Center and a Masters of Art in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. My desire is and has always been to teach Criminal Justice and the Law.  I worked eight years in Law Enforcement and have held the titles of Deputy Sheriff, Probation and Parole Agent, Special Agent and Investigator. I have seen the best and worst of people throughout my career.  I try to bring my law enforcement experience to the classroom each and every time I teach.  It has been very rewarding teaching students at the collegiate level for over three years now. Developing curriculum for online learning is also an area that I enjoy. I truly want to be able to educate students in the realm of Criminal Justice and help to prepare them for an ever-changing field
