Dawson Henry is the Events Coordinator of the Music Department at East Tennessee State University. Dawson joined the ETSU Faculty after graduating from ETSU in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications with a minor in Music and certification in Digital Marketing. During his time at ETSU, Dawson participated in the ETSU Chorale, Greyscale, BucFilms, Phi Theta Kappa, and NSLS honor society.
Dawson is a creative writer, director, and voice actor. Dawson has produced accredited works such as Dylan Henry's Environmental Story in association with the Climate Stories Project, published as a piece in the Reese Museum in 2022, starred as a television news host for The Local View in 2023, voice-over talent for commercial/promotional work at The Tennessee Smokies in 2023, and founded the narrative fiction horror podcast, Don't Panic, in 2024.
Dawson continues to pursue media-based productions, playing instruments, singing, and enjoying hikes in Johnson City.
