Michael Talley
Michael Talley is photographer, videographer, and webmaster for the Center of Excellence
in Early Childhood Learning and Development. He is currently housed in a state of
the art storage closet disguised as an editing suite containing various imaging technologies
dating to the late 1980s. Dubbed "Mister Mike" by the perennially camera-shy staff
of the Child Study Center he can often be spotted lurking in the shadows in his quest
for candid photos of Early Childhood educators in their natural habitat. Having accumulated
somewhere
north of 10.000 such images in the last decade in addition to several hundred hours
of video footage for use in various publications, presentations, and displays, Mr.
Mike's relentless pursuit of technical perfection and visual artistry is clearly evident
in the various projects in which he has been involved. Always looking for new technological
challenges, Michael is constantly exploring new ways of communicating age old ideas
with
continually evolving methods. Currently cajoling his colleagues to comply with the
concepts and constraints of the content managed system version 2.0. of which this
page is but one really bad example.
I adopted a pup from the shelter. I named him Jefferson for the president whose image appears on the two dollar bill. I call him "J". Aside from the physical resemblance they share the same political philosophy and have similar tastes in literature.
Thomas Jefferson said, "Walking is the best possible exercise. Habituate yourself to walk very fast." Thomas Jefferson said, "Experience demands that man is the only animal which devours his own kind, for I can apply no milder term to the general prey of the rich on the poor." |
J says, "Would you come on? I don't have all day." J says, "I'm hungry. I would like a biscuit. The peanut-butter flavored kind." |
