Dr. LeRoy-Frazier serves as Professor and chair in the Division of Cross-Disciplinary Studies and teaches in the Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies program, as well as in the Division's undergraduate programs. Her areas of expertise are Southern studies, gender and diversity studies, interdisciplinary theory and practice, and cultural studies and critical theory. She has published in venues such as The Mississippi Quarterly, The Southern Literary Journal, Southern Studies, The Journal of Southern History, Obsidian III, Mosaic, and The Literary Encyclopedia, and presented at gatherings such as the Modern Language Association, the American Literature Association, the Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900, the Appalachian Studies Association, the Association for Graduate Liberal Studies Programs, and Dimensions of Political Ecology.
She is Assistant Dean in the Graduate School and has been at ETSU since 2006.
