Ms. Rogers has been teaching at ETSU since Fall 2018. She holds a BA in Psychology from Winthrop University, an MA in Human Services Counseling, with a concentration on Life Coaching, an EdS in Counselor Leadership from East Tennessee State University. She is currently a PhD student studying to complete her doctorate in Educational Psychology and Research, Adult Learning at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Ms. Rogers has worked and served her community-at-large in several roles and capacities
through nonprofit, community, and leadership engagements. Among her roles in the nonprofit
and community sector, she has served as an Activity Director and Director over a nonprofit
Adult Day Program serving adults with mental and physical disabilities, served a year
of service and is an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) alum, she
is currently a volunteer in service to her local hometown community through grief
support, and Chair of the Tennessee Service-Learning Consortium (TNSLC).
Ms. Rogers enjoys the opportunity bestowed upon her and the ability to connect, teach,
and grow with her students throughout their academic journey. She is a firm believer
and embraces the concept of lifelong learning, as life is a process to progress journey.
She is grateful to be involved and a part of the Cross-Disciplinary Studies team teaching
the Leadership courses.
