Enrollment Steps

Get your questions answered for spring 2025

To be successfully enrolled for spring 2025, all ETSU students must take certain steps, including registering for courses and confirming your registration. Failing to take these steps could slow your path to graduation, or you could be dropped from your courses.

Register for classes

Register for Classes

All students must register for classes, and the ETSU Registrar’s Office has guidance to help you stay on track for graduation. Registration for spring opens Monday, November 4. Here are some tips:

  • Before registering for classes, utilize Degree Works in GoldLink. This program helps you track your degree progress in real-time. Questions about Degree Works? Visit this tutorial page

  • Register for classes using Schedule Builder, a planning tool that helps build your ideal schedule, in GoldLink. Not sure how to use Schedule Builder? Check out this tutorial page

  • Need help registering for classes? Contact staff via email at reghelp@etsu.edu or call (423) 439-5584

Confirm registration

Confirm Your Registration

All ETSU students must also confirm your registration, a process that means you are securing your classes, each semester on GoldLink. Here are some tips:

  • All students must confirm registration before Tuesday, Jan. 14 by 6 a.m.
  • When confirming your registration, you have three options: confirming with payment (paying your bill in full or entering into a payment plan), confirming with financial aid (meaning you have enough financial aid to cover your entire balance), or confirming that you will not be attending ETSU. Visit this page for instructions and tutorials.
  • If you have questions, every ETSU student has a personal Financial Aid counselor available to assist you.
