BRISTOL, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2021) -- To better serve more of the region, ETSU Health’s Family Medicine Bristol clinic has added two physicians, creating a team to provide comprehensive care for all stages of patients’ lives, and in particular, women’s services.
Dr. Andrea Hopkins, medical director, maintains a comprehensive family medicine practice
that includes non-surgical obstetrics. She takes a personalized approach to patients’
health, from contraception and family planning through pregnancy, childbirth, menopause
and beyond.
“I am excited to welcome Drs. Kelsey Lloyd and Elizabeth White to our team here in Bristol,” Hopkins said. “As full-spectrum family doctors, we look forward to caring for women during their pregnancy and providing couplet care for mother and baby after delivery and throughout the stages of life.”
Lloyd is an East Tennessee native who is passionate about Appalachia. While obtaining
her medical degree and later completing her residency in family medicine at ETSU’s
Quillen College of Medicine, Lloyd participated in the rural primary care track, cultivating her interest in
providing care in small communities.
She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric
advanced life support.
White enjoys forming relationships with the patients of the area. She prides herself
in listening to what patients say, paying attention to how they feel and working with
them to meet their health goals. She encourages asking questions and enjoys educating
patients.
She completed her residency in family medicine at ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine
and obtained her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic
Medicine in Lewisburg. She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life
support, pediatric advanced life support, and in the neonatal resuscitation program.
