Byrd has been promoted to the role of associate vice president and dean of students. Byrd will provide leadership oversight for the Departments of Campus Recreation, Disability Services, University Counseling Center, Student Conduct and Care systems and University Wellness Initiatives. She will also serve as advisor to the Student Government Association.

“Encouraging students to work toward their full potential and supporting students through all aspects of the student experience is at the heart of her work.” said Dr. Joe Sherlin, vice president for Student Life and Enrollment.

Levesque has been promoted to assistant vice president and executive director of Undergraduate Admissions. Levesque will provide direct supervision of Undergraduate Admissions and leadership oversight for the Departments of Financial Aid and Scholarships, New Student and Family Programs, ETSU 1020 and the BIGS Mentoring Program.

“Dr. Levesque joined ETSU in 2011 and supporting the successful transition of students and families to our ETSU community has been a major focus of her work,” said Sherlin.

After serving in an interim role for the past year, Davis has been named the director of the Counseling Center. A licensed clinical psychologist and an active member in several regional and national organizations focused on mental health and wellbeing, Davis will work to emphasize the importance of improving the ETSU student experience, specifically as it relates to wellness.

“Dr. Davis will serve as one of several key leaders on campus who will be identifying, evaluating, developing and strengthening wellness initiatives at ETSU,” commented Sherlin.

Sherlin is confident that these leaders will further enhance the institution's commitment to provide a supportive and enriching educational experience for its students.

ETSU is home to devoted and hard-working staff and faculty who are committed to improving the lives of the people in the region and beyond.
