ETSU Men’s Basketball hosting Educator Night

Rachel Howard November 12, 2023

The ETSU Buccaneers will honor local educators as Coach Savage and the team take on Davidson College.

East Tennessee State University is expressing gratitude to K-12 educators by offering them free tickets to the ETSU Men’s Basketball game vs Davidson College on November 17 at 7 p.m. in Freedom Hall.

ETSU recognizes the profound impact educators have on the community and the region, and in a special gesture of appreciation, extends an invitation to local educators and their families to watch as Coach Brooks Savage and his team face the Bulldogs.

Anyone employed by a K-12 school or district can reserve two FREE tickets, granting them entry to the game. Additionally, educators can receive up to two meal vouchers for redemption inside the arena. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be claimed by filling out this form with a valid email address associated with a K-12 school or district.

Additional guest tickets are available to educators at a discounted rate of $5 per ticket. All tickets indicated on the form will be available for pick-up at the will-call window prior to the game.

ETSU is excited to welcome area educators to an evening of Buccaneer basketball as a token of gratitude.

“East Tennessee State University was founded in 1911 with a singular purpose: to improve the quality of life for people in the region and beyond,” said ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland. “It is fitting, then, that the university’s sole focus at the time was on preparing teachers. Educators are some of the most impactful individuals in our lives, and they are integral to the fabric of our communities. ETSU is proud to honor these unsung heroes in this small way.”
