Emergency aid available for ETSU staff

O.J. Early October 3, 2024

When catastrophic events strike, support can make all the difference.

East Tennessee State University is providing emergency assistance to its staff through the Community Benevolence Committee Fund, an initiative aimed at helping employees navigate severe, unexpected hardships.

The CBC Fund offers emergency grants of up to $200 to eligible full-time and part-time ETSU staff members. The support is intended for those facing crises such as floods, fires or other devastating situations – not for managing routine financial needs.

The application process is straightforward. Complete the application, and then submit it to Dan Bishop, director of the Office of Military and Veteran Services and chair of the Staff Senate’s Community Benevolence Committee. And if anyone would like to donate to the fund, please also contact Bishop.
