The ETSU Martin Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce the incredible success of the 49 Winchester Benefit Concert held on November 30, 2024, to support relief efforts for Hurricane Helene. The sold-out event raised an astounding $35,323.84 for Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, providing critical assistance to those impacted by the devastating storm in East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Southwest Virginia.

This unforgettable evening of music and generosity brought together community members, music lovers, and supporters from across the region. In addition to the in-person audience, livestream tickets offered through Nugs.net allowed fans to join the cause from anywhere, further contributing to the success of the fundraiser.

“This concert was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community,” said Jennifer Clements, executive director of the ETSU Martin Center. “49 Winchester’s performance was truly inspiring. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this event. Because of the overwhelming support, we are able to make a profound impact on so many lives within our community.”

Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee, which serves eight counties in the region, will use the funds raised to provide food and essential resources to individuals and families affected by Hurricane Helene.

"We appreciate the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts for their generosity in hosting this concert for our community to benefit our ability to help those affected by Hurricane Helene and the long-term recovery efforts," says Rhonda Chafin, executive director of Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee. "Thank you to 49 Winchester for the uplifting concert and for donating their time and energies to make this fundraising effort such a great success."

The ETSU Martin Center extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who purchased tickets for both in-person and livestream, and to the sponsors and supporters who made this event possible. Together, we have proven that music and compassion can change lives.
