Grammy-winning Chanticleer performing at ETSU
Prepare to be captivated by Chanticleer, the internationally acclaimed “orchestra
of voices,” as they bring their extraordinary vocal talents to the East Tennessee
State University’s Martin Center for the Arts on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m.
“Chanticleer is a global treasure,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, chair of the ETSU Department
of Music. “It’s rare to experience an ensemble of this caliber live in our region.
This is an event you don’t want to miss.”
Known for their breathtaking vocal artistry, Chanticleer has earned multiple GRAMMY
awards and released over 20 albums.
Based in San Francisco, the ensemble has been delighting audiences worldwide since
their founding in 1978. Their repertoire spans centuries, ranging from Renaissance
works to contemporary compositions.
