A remarkable musical event is happening this weekend.
On Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m., the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra will join forces with the East Tennessee State University Choir and Orchestra programs for “Fortune and Fate,” a thrilling evening of music at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
This performance brings together some of the region’s most talented musicians for an unforgettable night of artistry and collaboration.
“This is a truly special opportunity to experience world-class music right here in our community,” said Dr. Steph Frye-Clark, interim director of the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts, associate professor of tuba and euphonium in the Department of Music, and the faculty trustee on the ETSU Board of Trustees. “The combined power of a full symphony, orchestra and choir will be a moving and dynamic experience for all who attend.”
The performance is part of ETSU’s ongoing commitment to providing high-caliber arts programming to the region.
ETSU is home to a vibrant community, hosting dozens of concerts, exhibitions and performances throughout the year. March is packed with events, and the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts at ETSU serves as an incredible hub for performances and events.
Tickets are available now through the Martin Center. Officials encourage audiences to secure their seats early for this extraordinary evening of music.
