
Will Healy
Will Healy became the 21st Head Coach of ETSU football on December 12, 2024. Healy joins ETSU after spending the past two seasons as an Assistant Head Coach at Georgia State and the University of Central Florida. Healy was also the Head Coach at Austin Peay State University (2016-18) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2019-22).
After attending the Air Force Academy, Healy transferred to the University of Richmond, where he was the starting quarterback for the Spiders' 2008 FCS national championship team. Healy's coaching career began in 2009 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He spent seven years at Chattanooga, where he produced back-to-back recruiting classes that were rated the best in the nation.
Lindsey Devine
ETSU volleyball Head Coach Lindsey Devine returned to Johnson City in 2024 for her second stint as a Buccaneer. The winningest coach in program history, she immediately transformed the program back to the level where it was in her first tenure, from 2003-2018. Devine improved the team’s record from 6-23 in 2023 to 19-11 in 2024 – her ninth 19-win season in the Blue and Gold and fifth consecutively, following four in a row at the end of her first stretch at ETSU.
She guided the Bucs to the third seed in the conference one year removed from finishing eighth, and to the conference semifinals en route to winning the 2024 SoCon Coach of the Year Award. In total, Devine now has a 340-281 record as a Head Coach, with a 311-229 mark at ETSU.

Aaron O’Callaghan
Aaron O’Callaghan entered his first season as the ETSU men’s golf Head Coach in 2024-25.
O’Callaghan, the fourth leader of the Buccaneer men’s golf program, spent the last
six seasons as the Associate Head Coach at Wake Forest. O’Callaghan has 10 years of
coaching experience as he spent four years at Louisville prior to making the move
to Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
During his time at Wake Forest, the Demon Deacons captured 15 tournament wins, appeared in all five NCAA Regionals, and advanced to four NCAA Championships. O’Callaghan played collegiately at Southeastern Louisiana from 2005-09, where he posted two career wins and was tabbed first team All-Southland Conference in 2007. As a professional, he advanced to the second stage of the 2011 European Tour Qualifying School.
Allen Vital
Allen Vital, who was named the fifth Head Coach in ETSU men’s soccer history on February 12, 2024, led the Buccaneers to a second straight Southern Conference regular season title in 2024. After guiding ETSU to a 3-1-1 record in conference play, Vital was named SoCon Coach of the Year. The Bucs reached the SoCon Championship in his first season at the helm, marking ETSU’s third all-time appearance in the SoCon title game. Prior to ETSU, Vital spent 13 seasons at Tusculum – his alma mater – and started his career coaching 14 years at Carson-Newman.
