The Office of University Events is committed to advancing the ETSU Mission and Values by creating meaningful ceremonies and events that showcase ETSU as a place where people come first and are treated with dignity and respect.
We plan and execute special events for the Office of the President, Office of the Provost and University Advancement. These high-level campus events include dedications, ribbon cuttings, faculty and staff recognitions, ETSU Commencement, Faculty Convocation, Board of Trustees meetings, and events for visiting dignitaries. Additionally, the Office of University Events drafts the ETSU Event Protocols and leads the ETSU Event Planners Group in sharing best practices in event planning across campus.
Event Planning Resources:
2024-25 ETSU Event Protocols Handbook

The Event Protocols handbook can help guide ETSU faculty and staff in event planning, from initial conceptualization through execution and evaluation, in order to provide consistency in the university experience across campus.
