The Certified Administrative Professional Certification is recognized as the national standard for secretaries and other administrative professionals. ETSU employees who work in a clerical-secretarial or clerical-management (non-exempt) position will be granted a nine percent (9%) increase in salary upon successful completion of the CAP exam (PPP-41, CAP Examination).

Is the exam free?
No, the exam costs $575 for non-members and $375 for IAAP members. The IAAP Membership costs $150/yr. (please check with your direct supervisor/budget manager for reimbursment request, as that is up to the departmental budget authority. HR doesn't offer reimbursment for this exam)
