Role Description
Responsible for overseeing a major Audit/Compliance area for the University. This role develops and executes strategy, promotes consistency and coordination among programs, and collaborates with officials internal and external to the university. This role requires a deep knowledge of complex laws and regulations impacting a broad spectrum of operations. Management level roles have the management and development of people as a major accountability and have direct reports. This role accomplishes goals through overseeing their areas of responsibility, planning, managing resources, prioritizing, and directing the responsibilities of employees.
Levels
Audit/Compliance Management 1Responsible for the operational and financial management, administrative direction,
and coordination of staff and activities of a unit. Education/Experience:Typically requires an advanced degree in a relevant field and six years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicable certification may be required. |
Audit/Compliance Management 2Works with campus leadership to develop, implement, and execute Audit/Compliance strategy
and may work on system-wide projects. Education/Experience:Typically requires an advanced degree in a relevant field and seven years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicable certification may be required. |
