Role Description
Responsible for coordinating and managing the operations of research studies. This role may perform research tasks; however, the purpose of the role is to organize the research process of clinical, non-clinical, or community-based research studies by performing tasks to coordinate and manage the operations of the study.
Levels
Research Study Coordinator 1Coordinates operational components of research studies. Education/Experience:Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicable certification may be required. |
Research Study Coordinator 2Coordinates research studies. Education/Experience:Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicable certification may be required. |
Research Study Management
Directs and coordinates research studies in collaboration with principal investigator. Education/Experience:Typically requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and two years of relevant, progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Applicable certification may be required. |
