ETSU Entrepreneurs' Club Pal Barger to Speak
JOHNSON CITY (September 29, 2014) - The East Tennessee State University student Entrepreneurs’ Club will welcome Pal Barger as its speaker on Monday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. in room 322 of Sam Wilson Hall.
Barger will share his experiences as a successful entrepreneur. He is the owner of Pal’s Sudden Service, the local restaurant company with a strong focus on excellence. The business has been honored with a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, bestowed annually by the President of the United States. The awards represent the highest honor in the nation for manufacturing, service, small business, education and health care. Of the five awards presented in 2001, Pal’s was the only small business and the first restaurant company to receive such distinction.
