ETSU to host Tri-Cities Financial Aid Night

East Tennessee State University will host Tri-Cities Financial Aid Night for area parents, family members, high school students and prospective transfer students on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6 p.m. in the D.P. Culp University Center.

A range of topics will be discussed, including the Tennessee Lottery Scholarship, state and federal aid, scholarships, upcoming deadlines, college decision making tools and how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

This is a great opportunity for parents and students to learn more about the financial aid application process and to ask questions about the types of aid available, said Margaret Miller, director of ETSU Financial Aid.   It is important that students begin the application procedures as early as possible and to follow up.  This event is a great opportunity to gather important information on application processes.

A number of ETSU and off-campus organizations will have representatives at the event, including the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation, U.S. Army and the ETSU offices of Financial Aid, Scholarships, Admissions, Housing, Student Support Services, Veteran Affairs and ROTC.
