Collection for Bucky's Food Pantry

When you think about food at a university, you might picture young students piling up heaping plates in the cafeteria, or think about the mythical "freshman 15." In reality, some of our students, faculty, and staff struggle with food insecurity. 

That's where Bucky's Food Pantry comes in.  

The mission of the food pantry is to diminish or end food insecurity for the ETSU community in the most convenient, discreet and easily accessible means possible. In just one week last December, almost 40 students and staff sought assistance for food shortages, but your assistance is needed to continue helping our community. 

The Medical Library in VA Building 4 is now a collection site for donations to Bucky's. Look for the blue plastic tub near the front desk. The pantry's website always lists the items  they have an immediate need for because they are completely out, items in short/dwindling supply, and items that are not needed at this time. 

Take a look at the list, drop off a few items in the box at the library, and we'll take care of the rest!
