Meet an Ambassador
Ambassador Program is comprised of select students.
You are invited to contact Matthew, Lily, or Tucker with any questions you would like to ask an ambassador. The Ambassador Program is comprised of select students in their second, third, or fourth year.
Matthew Spence - P3
My name is Matthew Spence, and I grew up right here in the Tri-Cities. I attended Northeast State Community College in Blountville, TN, and earned an Associate of Science degree. I am currently the Student Ambassador Program Student Coordinator, Class of 2020 Secretary, and chair for the Student National Pharmaceutical Association “Remember the Ribbon” initiative. Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy has always been the school for me for many reasons. The classes are smaller, it’s in my home area, the campus is beautiful, the entire school makes you feel like they know you personally as soon as you walk through the front doors, plus many more reasons. Please feel free to contact me through email or Facebook if you have any questions about the program or want to know more about Gatton.
Lily Tran - P3
My name is Lily Tran, and I’m from Austin, TX. I graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. degree in Biology before making my move to East Tennessee. Choosing Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Being here has given me so many experiences that I could not have gotten anywhere else, and I’ve been able to grow both personally and professionally as a result. I love getting to talk to others and helping people find their path here, so feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have!
Tucker Carlson - P3
My name is Tucker Carlson, and I’m from Dandridge, TN. I attended ETSU and received a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing. I chose Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy because of the opportunity to tailor my training. I’m currently enrolled in the PharmD/MBA dual degree program, and I’m pursuing the Concentration in Pharmacy Research as well. East Tennessee is home to me, and I love all that Johnson City has to offer. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions about Gatton or the area.
