To be well and fit is a choice to assume responsibility for the quality of your life.
It begins with a conscious decision to shape a healthy lifestyle. Wellness and fitness
are mind sets, predispositions to adopt a series of key principles in varied life
areas that lead to high levels of well-being and life satisfaction.
The goal of the Basler Center for Physical Activity's fitness and wellness programming
is to offer a wide variety of opportunities and well-maintained facilities/equipment
to establish and maintain healthy life habits for the ETSU community. Regardless of
your current fitness level, our facility has something to offer you.
The BCPA provides structured and unstructured leisure time activities for its members.
It is through these activities that participants learn life long skills that contribute
to their social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well being and development.
The BCPA has a number of program offerings including:
- Group Fitness Classes
- Personal Training Services
- A dedicated Yoga studio and extensive Yoga programming
- Dance Classes
- Martial Arts Classes
- Multitude of cardio/weight training equipment for self directed exercise
