ETSU Together
Drones will light up the sky at the inaugural ETSU Together event on Wednesday, September 21 from 7-9 p.m. in the University Commons.
As a part of celebrations for the International Day of Peace, students, faculty, and staff are invited to this special program. Attendees will build connection and community through food, music, storytelling, and shared expression of peace and unity. Come leave your message for inclusion in a permanent art installation on campus and uplift ETSU’s values of People, Diversity, and Relationships.
Schedule
7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Join members of the campus community in celebrating the International Day of Peace
through art, music, and reflection. Grab a paint brush and leave your mark on a new,
permanent art installation to be displayed on campus for years to come, create your
own peace crane to share with others your message of unity, or let your creativity
run wild as you dye your own peace-inspired shirt.
Light refreshments will be provided.
8 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Gather with your peers as we uplift our shared University values in an inspirational program with guest speakers and performers from across the campus community, and join us in looking to the night-sky for a never-before-seen light show featuring over 100 music-synchronized drones.
