Leadership and Civic Engagement provides the structure and resources to prepare students to become productive, enlightened citizens and assume roles of leadership and service in a culturally diverse and increasingly complex society. The office fosters lifelong service and civic participation by engaging the University with its greater community in action, change, and learning.
The Office promotes, organizes and supports a variety of public service opportunities and civic engagement activities for the campus community and maintains a community service resource center for students interested and engaged in community service.
For non-profit organizations and agencies that would like to host volunteers on Service Saturdays and other service events, register here.
*Due to D.P. Culp University Center Renovations, our office is now located on the 2nd floor of The Basler Center for Physical Activity.
